Digital Advertising Sales Assistant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Digital Advertising Sales Assistant to learn and establish his/her relationships in the digital advertising world. Our online publishing business is well established and we are managing a network of websites focusing on the wealthiest market segment in the UK.

You will be responsible for researching the market, identify key account holders at media agencies, keeping up with latest market developments, and supporting the daily sales operation. The right candidates will be trained to sell rich media, standard digital display, native advertisement as well as audience targeting, Real Time Bidding, programmatic options and database marketing to leading media agencies and direct clients across the UK in packages or individually.


The Role

The Digital Advertising Sales Assistant will join a well established digital business based in central London.

  • Identify key decision makers at digital agencies and direct clients level
  • Assisting with generating and maintaining new business leads
  • Create your own portfolio of contacts and a database of potential clients
  • Selling effectively to deliver revenue and exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Working closely with the Sales Team and the Line Manager and provide timely report to the management
  • Understanding and researching on the sales and marketing strategies on the digital  advertising market
  • To work in a way that will promote and preserve a safe and healthy work environment
  • To contribute to the Company’s other activities when required
  • To comply with all company policies


About you

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in media and communication, marketing or any other related discipline; ideally with demonstrable sales experience
  • Confident and determined personality to cold calling and opening the right “doors” at agencies and with direct clients
  • Strong sales approach including negotiating, handling objections and closing a deal
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, achieving and delivering the targets
  • Organised and well structured work style
  • Confident and good communicator both face to face, in writing and on the phone
  • Excellent computer skills (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, Web)
  • A positive winning attitude, flexible and quick thinking
  • High level of creativity and ability to take instructions on board and implement them in a timely manner
  • Prior experience in digital sales would be an advantage
  • Eligible to work in the UK


Condition of Service

Salary:            Dependent on experience

Hours:            37.5 hours per week (excluding lunch and breaks)

Holidays:       20 days per annum (pro rata) in addition to statutory and public holidays
